  1. Payable charges were originally rated per duly negotiated pricing agreement naming discount provisions are not paid in full within 30 days from the ship date, the following will apply:
    1. When charges are open or paid between 31-40 days, the freight bill will be re-rated allowing only ½ of the original applicable discount.
    2. When charges are open or paid between 41-50 days, the freight bill will be re-rated allowing only ¼ of the original applicable discount.
    3. When charges are open or paid after 51 days, the freight bill will be re-rated using the current Bullet class rates effective the day of the shipment, with NO discount, FAK exception rating, allowance, or accessorial charge waivers.
  2. Payable charges were originally rated per a “spot”, “flat”, or other duly negotiated commodity rate and are not paid within 30 days from the ship date, the following will apply:
    1. When charges are open or paid within 31-40 days, the freight bill will be increased by 25%.
    2. When charges are open or paid between 41-50 days, the freight bill will be increased by 45%.
    3. When charges are open or paid after 51 days, the freight bill will be re-rated using the current Bullet class rates effective the day of the shipment, with NO discount, FAK exception rating, allowance, or accessorial charge waivers.
  3. For freight charges due under this item, the payor of charges shall pay interest at the highest local rate on all amounts not paid when due, together with any and all attorneys’ fees and other costs of collection.
  4. Discounts, refunds, FAK exceptions, or accessorial charge waivers named in pricing agreements will not apply on shipments when the carrier has required the services of a collection agency or legal action is taken in order to collect the charges due on said shipment; Such freight bill will be subject to the LATE PAYMENT PENALTIES as provided herein.

INCENTIVE DISCOUNT OR ALLOWANCE CALCULATIONS

Incentive programs, allowances, and calculation of discounts are based upon payment of freight charges within 30 days of the ship date
Revenues for qualified shipments, which are not paid and processed within 30 days of the ship date will not be included in discount or allowance calculations, nor subject to discount…
